Short film about Restorative Justice

By the RJC

The Restorative Justice Council have made a film that explains restorative justice from an offenders perspective who got himself drawn into crime by not having a focus after the loss of a loved one. Its amazing how direction can be lost when trauma exists and young people such as Jason can get involved in with the wrong crowds and eventually crime due to vulnerabilities and trusting the wrong people. He was 16 years old and ended up in prison. He met an officer who asked him if he knew about restorative justice which he had and used this as a medium to express himself as he wanted his victims to see him for who he really is and not as what he was involved in.
